Managing existing Customers

Customer Overview

Basic Information

Important customer information is displayed in this section.

  • Customer ID – The unique ID of a Customer user account.
  • Username – The username is used to login to a Customer account. Typically this will be the same as the email account.
  • Name – The Customers full name used to identify the account and in email/other communications.
  • Contact Number – The contact phone number is used for administrative information only.
  • Email – The email account is used for primary communications such as resetting the account password and account notifications.
  • User Level – The user level is either Customer,  or Administrator.
  • Timezone – The timezone relevant to the customer account, this setting will override the configuration in the System Configuration.

Media Services

Summary of media services that belong to this customer user account.

  • Active Servers – The number of active servers belonging to this Customer. Active Servers refers to a service that is not suspended. This also includes a link to view active media services relating directly to this Customer.
  • Suspended Servers – The number of suspended servers belonging to this Customer. This also includes a link to view suspended media services relating directly to this Customer.

Reseller Usage

A summary of the Reseller account usage and plan limitations is displayed only if the Customer account has a Reseller Plan assigned.

  • Service Name – The Reseller Plan name associated with this Customer.
  • AutoDJ – If AutoDJ (for Audio Services) is allowed then a reseller can create or add AutoDJ to a media service. 
  • Per User Quota – The number of AutoDJ accounts allowed to assign to a media service.
  • Proxy Support – Whether the Port 80/443 proxy can be used with services created/managed by this reseller. 
  • Max Connections – The maximum number of connections that can be assigned to services.
  • Data Transfer – The total amount of bandwidth that can be allocated to services.
  • Max. Bitrate – The maximum bitrate that services can be created with.
  • Server Limit – If a server limit is in place then the reseller can only create this number of service. Default Unlimited.

Service & Media Files

Files related to a customer account are stored in /usr/local/mediacp/content/user_{Customer ID}/
